Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas is seeking medical advice after "alarming messages" from viewers who said they spotted lumps under her arm.

Shirley was told that people could see something unusual when she lifted her arm - and has now booked an appointment with her doctors as there is a history of cancer in the family.

In a video update on Instagram before Saturday night's Strictly Come Dancing show, Shirley said: "I got some alarming messages from people saying that when I picked my arm up they could see lumps or bumps. "I did some self-checks and I can't feel anything, but I'm going to go to the doctors on Tuesday.
