Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice has paid an emotional tribute to Len Goodman describing him as a "legend" and someone they "always want to please".The professional dancer, 32, has appeared on the hit BBC dancing show since 2015 previously being partnered with the likes of Laura Whitmore, Georgia May Foote and Rose Ayling-Ellis, who he won the Glitterball trophy with in the 2021 series.
And now dancer Giovanni has paid an emotional tribute to former judge Len Goodman, who died at the age of 78 from bone cancer on 22 April this year.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, Giovanni shared: "My memory of Len Goodman is the same one as everybody has, a legend. He continuedL "I was lucky enough to be able to do a couple of seasons when he was a judge and his judgement was always exciting for us." He went on to say: "We want to please Len, we always want to please Len and we have to listen because Len obviously, is the legend himself." Giovanni added that Len's death was "sad, sad news" for the whole Strictly family.
Giovanni will begin his next tour, Him & Me, in June with "best friend" Anton Du Beke before returning to Strictly this summer.
