Strictly's Ellie Simmonds' mum in tears over her 'emotional' Waltz with Nikita Kuzmin
ok.co.ukEllie Simmonds' mother, Val, was left in tears as she watched her daughter perform an "emotional" Waltz with pro Nikita Kuzmin on Saturday's Strictly Come Dancing.
After performing, Ellie, 27, and Nikita, 24, received praise from the judges with Shirley Ballas admitting she was "emotional" after the routine full of "magic".
Anton Du Beke said: "You flowed beautifully and I enjoyed that enormously", Craig Revel Horwood said the performance was "good", and that Ellie did "really, really well" While Motsi Mabuse gave a glowing review of what she had seen and described how a moment when Ellie looked into Nikita's eyes gave her "the biggest Goosebumps ever, it was so magical".
Heading to Claudia Winkleman to discuss their performance, the host pointed out that Ellie's emotional mother Val was in the audience as the camera panned onto her.
