Dozens of fans took to Reddit to hit out against the fact that some of the professionals who weren't seen on this year's series also will not take part in the special episode.
The special festive episode - which was filmed last night - saw six new celebs compete for the coveted Glitterball Trophy. The line-up for the show has already been revealed, with a member of Girls Aloud, a Gavin & Stacey star, a Radio 1 DJ, and more.
Nicola Roberts, Larry Lamb, Rickie Haywood-Williams, Rosie Ramsey, Alexandra Mardell and George Webster will take to the ballroom.
They are due to be paired with Giovanni Pernice, Nadiya Bychkova, Luba Mushtuk, Neil Jones, Kai Widdrington and Amy Dowden.
