Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden backed by co-stars as she starts cancer treatment and says she's 'ready for this fight'

The professional dancer, 32, who joined the BBC dance series in 2017, has been flooded with support from her Strictly co-stars as she said she is 'ready for this fight'.
Last month, Amy revealed she had been diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer in a heartbreaking post on Instagram. The devastated dancer told her 370,000 followers that she was 'determined to get back on that dance floor' after finding a lump in her breast ahead of her honeymoon with husband Ben Jones in April.
Ahead of starting treatment yesterday (June 7), the TV star took to Instagram to share a photo of herself from her hospital bed as she told her fans and friends that she is starting 'step one to beating cancer'.
