STRICTLY Come Dancing fans branded Tony Adams' performance as the ‘worst ever’. The Arsenal legend, 55, and his pro Katya Jones paid homage to his illustrious sports career as they danced the tango dressed in red jerseys.

Tony was lowered to the dancefloor on a gold cannon and briefly danced with a football as they performed to Go West by the Village People, securing a score of 15.

Taking to Twitter to discuss his performance, one person wrote: “Maybe the worst dance I’ve seen on this show #Strictly.” A second added: “Tony Adams is one of my footballing heroes but that was dreadful.
