SP Energy Networks have announced that they will give an additional £150 in compensation to customers who were left without power for more than 48 hours following Storm Arwen.
Thousands of homes remain in the dark six days on after large parts of the country were battered by winds of up to 97mph. Catastrophic damage was done to several power lines while many roads were blocked off by fallen trees and debris which have hampered repair efforts.
