Store director retires after decades of service at EK opticians

A store director is retiring after nearly three decades at the helm of an opticians in East Kilbride. Shirley-Ann Kennedy, ophthalmic optician and partner at Specsavers in the East Kilbride shopping centre is set to retire at the end of the month.

She is handing over the reins of the business to new store directors, Marianne Keys and Emily MacDonald. The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
