Mystery surrounds St Mirren's clash with Celtic amid the ongoing Covid issues at the club. The club stated last week they have been hit by "a number" of positive cases ahead of the Premiership fixture on Wednesday.

The Paisley side suspended training and were locked in talks with the SPFL regarding upcoming fixtures. The Buddies are also currently scheduled to face Rangers at Ibrox on Boxing Day.

Despite the issues, the clash with Ange Postecoglou's side looked likely to go ahead with Jim Goodwin's pre-match press conference planned for Tuesday.However, the original 1.30pm time slot was postponed until 3.30pm, but has now been delayed further.
