St Mirren midfielder Mark O'Hara and boss Stephen Robinson were beaten to two top awards by Celtic counterparts Jota and Ange Postecoglou.The Saints pair were nominated for goal of the season and manager of the season respectively at this year's PFA Scotland awards ceremony.Held on Sunday night in Glasgow, O'Hara's sublime volley against St Johnstone back in November was one of the favourites for the award.Hearts forward Stephen Humphrys sensational strike against Dundee United from his own half was also a serious contender, but in the end it was Jota who was awarded the prize for his clever chip against Rangers.The award has drawn some fierce criticism on social media, with many St Mirren supporters feeling O'Hara's effort was more deserving while several other Scottish football fans opted for Humphrys' memorable long range effort.Robinson was expected to face a sterner test to beat Postecoglou to the manager of the year award, with the Australian already claiming the League Cup and Premiership title.

The Hoops are also heavy favourites to lift the Scottish Cup and complete a treble when they take on Championship side Inverness in this season's showpiece.And despite leading St Mirren to their first top-six finish since the split was introduced - against a backdrop of financial issues off the pitch - Robinson was left on the losing side with Postecoglou picking up the award.
