Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim has seemingly ruled out a move for Cristiano Ronaldo as speculation continues over his future.
Ronaldo has been linked with an exit from Manchester United throughout the summer. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner wants to leave Old Trafford due to his desire to play Champions League football during the remaining years of his career.
With the Reds having failed to qualify for Europe’s top competition last season, that would of course mean the Portugal international having to leave.
United though remain adamant that Ronaldo is not for sale, with the 37-year-old still having a year left on his contract following his return to the club last season.
