Next month Soccer Mommy will release new album Sometimes, Forever. So far from the Oneohtrix Point Never-produced album we have heard "Shotgun" and "Unholy Affliction." Today comes "Bones" alongside a video directed by Alex Ross Perry.
Perry is perhaps best known for his movies Her Smell and Listen Up, Philip but also regularly shoots music videos and previously worked with Soccer Mommy on 2019's "yellow is the color of her eyes" visual. "'Bones' is a song about struggling with the parts of yourself that you don’t like in a relationship," Sophie Allison said in a statement, which also revealed she originally wrote the song for a rom-com before deciding to keep it for herself. "It’s about wanting to become better for someone and feeling like you’re standing in your own way."
