Scots waterway taking the horror total of deaths in the last 24-hours to SIX. Police recovered the body of a 13-year-old boy last night in the water at Hazelbank, Lanark.A huge rescue effort was launched but the youngster could not be saved.The child is the sixth person to die in Scottish waters this weekend.Cops said three people including a nine-year-old child died at Pulpit Rock, Ardlui last night.There have also been the deaths of 11-year-old Dean Irvine who drowned in Stonehouse, Lanarkshire yesterday and 16-year-old Connor Markward who lost his life at Loch Lomond on Friday.A police statement on the Hazelbank incident read: "Police were called around 5.55pm on Saturday, 24 July, 2021 following the report of a concern for person in the.
