Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

SIMON Cowell offered to send a plane for Il Divo star Carlos Marin to fly him to Spain for treatment before he died. The singer, 53, died on December 19, days after being hospitalised with Covid.

Carlos was placed in a coma by doctors at Manchester Royal Hospital inEngland, before losing his battle with the virus. The late star's ex-wife, Geraldine Larrosa, has revealed The X Factorboss - who put together the classical crossover group for his Syco labelin 2003 - was a huge support in the days leading to her husband's death.

Speaking to Spanish publication Hola!, Geraldine said: “Simon Cowellpersonally phoned the hospital and offered to help with anything. “To help him, send him a plane in case they could fly [to Spain] sooner.
