A supermarket bakery was at the centre of a spelling joke this week after making an awkward mistake. One of the Tesco store’s signs went viral after shoppers spotted an embarrassing error, which left some customers ‘peeing themselves laughing’.

This sign was intended to alert customers to a shortage of baked goods due to lack of available staff, with the classic line to sign off the shortage: “Apologies for the inconvenience”.

However, the mix-up meant the sign read: “Apologies for the incontinence”, much to the amusement of sarky shoppers. The A4 sign hung on the shelf – attached with some yellow and white tape amongst the empty trays.The sign read: “Sorry, no bakery due to staff shortage.
