Members of Bolton council's licensing panel held a review into the premises licence of Dino's Mini Market last month. The committee heard the shop was at the centre of ‘a catalogue of criminality’, including selling laughing gas to youths and stocking illicit tobacco.
An investigation also uncovered the illegal barber operation during the latest lockdown. Councillors were told numerous complaints about criminal activity had been made by neighbours living close to the shop, in St Helens Road.
