Shaughna Phillips admits to 'tough weekend' as new mum and is 'scared' of future
ok.co.ukShaughna Phillips has opened up about being a new mum as she candidly discussed having a "tough weekend" with her newborn daughter Lucia.The former Love Island star, 29, shared a snap of herself hugging her daughter as she shared her fear of the future in a lengthy caption.
She began: "This weekend has been tough. Feel like my emotions have taken over again just as I was getting to grips with them.
I’m jumping back into work this week and I’m already scared about juggling work life with trying to be the best mum, but I’m self employed, and I have to get back to work." The new mum continued: "There’s times where the smallest thing will happen and I can’t help but feeling completely overwhelmed. "And then I finish the day with a cuddle from my darling, and I suddenly feel like everything will be okay. "Sharing these feelings just in case there’s any mamas out there feeling the same, one day at a time [white heart emoji]." Fans and fellow new mums were quick to share their support, with many also commenting with their experiences of motherhood.
One wrote: "Being a mum is the hardest job you will have. Be easy on yourself. No mum is perfect....there's no manual..its a tough learning journey.
