Ian Evatt is adamant that chairman Sharon Brittan and the Bolton Wanderers board do not have to show him any financial evidence of their backing to reach the Championship as he has always received what he has asked for from them as he hailed their 'miraculous' work to get the club to where it is.

Wanderers finished last season ninth in League One and are aiming to build on that positive result as a newly promoted team in the new campaign.

The club is aiming to mount a promotion charge and target the top six at least. The Whites are due to return for pre-season training on June 17, before jetting out to Portugal for a training camp a few days later on June 19.

Wanderers boss Evatt hopes to have the squad fundamentally in place by the start of pre-season in terms of getting their transfer window business done early.
