In an exclusive statement to ET, Rondeau says he was the one who called it off, and that the breakup is not recent.«I broke up with Shanna months ago,» he tells ET. «It is disappointing things couldn't work out between us two, but sometimes love isn't enough… making that decision to have us move on and go our separate ways was not easy, but I know it was the right decision.
And overall, beneficial for the both of us.»Moakler had no comment when reached by ET. The two have deleted all traces of each other off of social media, but this is not the first time the on-again, off-again couple have split.
