A shamed banker who stole his ex-girlfriend’s identity while subjecting her to a campaign of abuse is using a dating app to meet new women just weeks after being sentenced.

Richard Meade, 38, followed his victim and bombarded her with thousands of messages as he carried out a sustained campaign of bullying against her.

Controlling Meade, who was convicted of domestic coercion and fraud after a trial, followed the dance teacher as he plundered her bank account for thousands of pounds.Despite being sentenced just over a month ago, concerned women have contacted the Daily Record to say he is actively seeking dates on Bumble. One woman said Meade has created a whole new persona on the dating app and claims to be a successful banker who is on a sabbatical. The woman, who asked not to be identified, said: “He is trying to paint himself as a successful banker in a privileged position of being on sabbatical for a year while focusing on opening a bar, renovating a house abroad and looking for a family-orientated woman to take on lavish holidays.“This man is a danger to women and I wanted to warn them to be on the lookout.

His profile picture is clearly old as it is nothing like him in recent court appearances.”Another woman told how she had a narrow escape when Meade contacted her on dating app Tinder and arranged a date. She said: “We arranged a date and I was really looking forward to it but then the day before, he just ghosted me.
