A Scots family paid a fitting tribute to their 'modern day Del boy' dad with an Only Fools-themed hearse at his funeral.Thomas Donnelly Smyth, who lived in Cambuslang, passed away at the age of 88 on November 10 after contracting aspiration pneumonia.
His funeral took place at the local St Cadoc’s Church on November 22 with a touching service before being laid to rest at Westburn Cemetery.
While Thomas's service may have been conventional, his family made sure the funeral cortege was anything but. Thomas' coffin was transported in a hearse inspired by the BBC comedy sitcom Only Fools and Horses, which featured the fictional lead character Derek 'Del Boy' Trotter.
