A shopper has been left shocked after spotting an inappropriate word on tubs of black food colouring. Ranaa, who visited Hobbycraft in Fort Kinnaird, Edinburgh has hit out at the wording that she described as 'offensive'.
The shopper took to social media to share her outrage over the use of the word 'negro black' on the product in-store - reports Edinburgh Live.
Raana saw her comments backed on Facebook as well as getting a response from Hobbycraft representatives on Twitter.On her Twitter, Ranaa said: "Is it just me or does it seem inappropriate to be selling food colouring called 'Negro Black' as we approach 2022? #racism."Hobbycraft responded to Ranaa's tweet, stating: "Thank you for your feedback.
