Scots farm worker, 21, dead after quad bike horror crash

dailyrecord.co.ukaccident. The woman, whose name has not yet been released, is believed to have come off the quad bike on Gerranton Farm, near Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Galloway and was badly injured.
Emergency services were rushed to the farm about a mile from Castle Douglas but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The young woman had worked at the farm for a number of years and had gone out on the quad bike.She was discovered just before midday on Wednesday but despite the efforts of ambulance personnel the woman died at the scene of the accident.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a 21-year-old injured after coming off a quad bike on a farm near Castle Douglas shortly after 11.15am on Wednesday, September 22.“Emergency.
