Scots delivery man attacked by hoodie-wearing thugs who tried to steal van keys

attacked a Scots delivery driver and tried to steal his van.The 29-year-old victim was out in the Wester Drylaw area of Edinburgh yesterday, when he was assaulted by two men who tried to take his keys.Luckily, a local resident stepped in and managed to scare the yobs off empty handed.Police have now released a description of both men in an attempt to track them down.The first is white, around 6ft 2in tall and was wearing a grey hooded top and black gloves at the time of the attack.His companion is described as around 5ft 10in and of medium build with very short hair or possibly bald.He was wearing a red hooded top, dark tracksuit bottoms and black gloves.Detective Constable Zaira Marker, of the Edinburgh Division Violence Reduction Unit,.
