A Scots carer dad is desperate to get medicinal cannabis oil for his son with Down’s Syndrome who suffers up to eight epileptic fits a day.Thomas Cotter, 47, says he has watched 10-year-old Elliot deteriorate in front of his eyes after the schoolboy began suffering seizures in 2017.It took doctors a year to diagnose then six-year-old Elliot with epilepsy.Four years on Thomas says his son’s condition has spiralled out of control with the youngster, who is also autistic and non-verbal, being forced to take 10 pills every day to control the fits.Speaking to the Record, Thomas said: "Elliot takes around eight seizures every day and that's with all the medication he is on."They used to mainly happen in the morning and night but it’s started to
