Disruption to Scotland's railways will continue today as key services remain suspended after the country was battered by Storm Arwen.
A number of lines were blocked by fallen trees which were uprooted by winds of up to 100mph on Friday night.The adverse conditions resulted in damage to overhead powers lines, with debris on the tracks.Hundreds of Scots were left stranded as services were cancelled or heavily postponed due to gale force winds.
On Saturday, ScotRail warned it will take ‘significant time’ for staff to assess the damage. And on Sunday they revealed disruption is expected to continue with a number of routes still suspended.Scotrail took to social media to tell their customers about the routes affected.The Edinburgh to North
