Made In Chelsea favourite Sam Thompson has predicted an interesting turn of events when it comes to this year's series of Love Island. The 29-year-old reality star turned to his 1.4 million Instagram followers on Tuesday night to share his theory that contestant Gemma Owen is relying on her famous footballing father Michael Owen to ensure she stays in the show for the long-run.
Speaking to girlfriend Zara McDermott in a vlog whilst watching last night's episode - which saw the original line-up's Amber Beckford and Ikenna Ekwonna brutally dumped - Sam jokes: "Gemma, just knowing she wasn't going to get picked." Zara - who is best known for having appeared on the 2018 series of the best-loved dating show - agreed: "Gemma knew as soon as they said there was going to be a dumping tonight, Gemma was so relaxed!"
