Daniel Wroughton Craig (born 2 March 1968) is an English actor. After training at the National Youth Theatre and graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1991, Craig began his career on stage. Sam Heughan drops James Bond hint with Instagram picture

Sam Heughan teased fans about becoming a 'spy' as in his latest Instagram post. The Scots actor has long been touted as a potential candidate for the new James Bond role alongside Bridgerton's Rege Jean Page and Tom Hardy.

Sam actually already auditioned for the role in 2005 of the iconic spy prior to Daniel Craig’s official casting.He revealed to Radio Times latterly: "I met [producer] Barbara Broccoli and [Casino Royale director] Martin Campbell."I did a scene and they had the gun from The Man with the Golden Gun on the table and I remember thinking, ‘Wow, this is incredible’.
