Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Ryan Porteous hits back at Kris Boyd as Hibs star brands pundit’s hard man claim ‘laughable’

Ryan Porteous slammed Kris Boyd’s “hard man” accusations as LAUGHABLE. And the Hibs ace insists he has the backing of everybody inside Easter Road over his style of play as he rubbished the former Rangers and Scotland striker’s criticism.

Porteous was told to “grow up” by pundit Boyd last week. He claimed the defender was risking his potential by “going out of his way to act tough” and blasted his post-semi final TV dig at ex-Rangers boss Steven Gerrard saying it came back to bite his side in the league clash 10 days later.
