Gladiator is one of Russell Crowe‘s biggest movies and most recognizable roles. However, he recently revealed that he had some hesitations about the part.
The 59-year-old actor’s work in the movie won him a Best Actor Oscar in 2001. The movie was so successful that it’s getting a sequel more than two decades later that will star Paul Mescal.
Despite the overwhelming success, Russell opened up about his movie’s script in a recent conversation with Vanity Fair.
