According to Ken Wharfe, Princess Diana's protection officer between 1988 and 1993, some members of the Royal Family do in fact enjoy watching fictionalised dramas about their lives. “The royals love that stuff.They will watch it and they have no fear of that.They’re watching it to see how true it is or how untrue it is,” he told OK!.
