League of Their Own star has been announced for three-part series The Misinvestigations of Romesh Ranganathan, which will see him take a deeper look into some of the most shocking high-profile deaths.

As well as looking at why the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Tupac Shakur died at such a young age, Romesh will also explore their extraordinary achievements and legacies, as well as why their passing continue to fascinate everyone.

The comedian will also be helped along the way by a new assistant each episode, including criminal psychologists and private detectives. "We wanted a spin off for Misadventures and after we discussed Misinterpretations, Miscalculations and Misunderstandings, we finally settled on Misinvestigations," Romesh said.
