Rising Covid case numbers in under-14s as rates remain ‘stubbornly high’

Cases are also rising among under-14s, but the vaccine programme for 12 to 15 year olds has now begun. Trafford council’s Director for Public Health, Eleanor Roaf, gave an update this morning at a public engagement meeting.

She said: “Our rates are still stubbornly high. They have come down a bit, but they’re around the 300, 320 per 100,000 mark, which is much higher than we’d like.
