Riptide viewers all make the same savage dig at new Channel 5 drama
thesun.co.ukVIEWERS of the brand new Channel 5 drama Riptide could not help but bring up the same comment over and over again. The brand new show, which launched last night, is set in Melbourne, Australia and features former EastEnders and Ackley Bridge star Jo Joyner in the leading role of Alison.
British born Alison is based in Australia where she has just married Aussie native Sean Weston, played by former Neighbours star Peter O'Brien.
However with her ex-husband wanting her back, questions are raised when Sean mysteriously goes missing. Did he disappear in the riptide during his morning surf or is there more to his disappearance than meets the eye?
