Ringo Starr has had to make the decision to cancel six of his upcoming tour dates after he tested positive for coronavirus.
The 82-year-old musician tested positive for the virus after a weekend announcement stressed he did not. His team shared an official statement about Ringo‘s health. “It has been confirmed today that Ringo has Covid and the tour will be on hold while Ringo recuperates,” the announcement read. “Ringo hopes to resume as soon as possible and is recovering at home.” It continued, “As always, he and the All Starrs send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them back out on the road soon.
