Rihanna, Mitski, and Lady Gaga nominated for 2023 Oscars

Rihanna and Mitski have earned their first Academy Award nomination, with Rih's “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and "This Is A Life," a song co-written by Mitski, David Byrne, and Ryan Lott, up for Best Original Song at this year’s Oscars.
Lady Gaga and Bloodpop's “Hold My Hand” from TK is also nominated in the category, alongside songs by Dianne Warren ("Applause" from Tell It Like A Woman), and M.
M. Keeravani, ("Naatu Naatu"from RRR). Find the list of nominated tracks below. In Best Original Score, meanwhile, the nominees include Son Lux (Everything Everywhere All At Once) and John Williams (The Fabelmans).
