The experienced Buddies defender is praying the Paisley club’s talented kids keep their happy-go-lucky attitude when they roll up to an empty Hampden tomorrow to take on Livingston.
Tait has experienced cup success in Scotland already, having captained the Steelmen to an emphatic 3-0 win over Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup in 2018.
But he has also tasted defeat in the final against Celtic that year, and again against the Hoops in the League Cup final in the same season.The 31-year-old admits this could be his last chance to add a major trophy to his CV, and he’s hoping the club’s youngsters keep their cool.
