According to court documents obtained by TMZ on Saturday, the 47-year-old actress filed divorce papers in Nashville, where the former couple was raising their 10-year-old son Tennessee James.

As for the reason she cited behind the split? The old catch-all: “irreconcilable differences.” When Reese and Jim announced their divorce, fans were no doubt surprised by the news, especially since it was days before their 12th wedding anniversary.
