Finnart sealed a hard-fought 1-0 win over Irvine Vics to end the Ayrshire outfit's 15-game unbeaten run in the WoSFL Third Division - but victory was marred by a full-time bust-up.Przemyslaw Dachnowicz's 18th minute strike settled a scrappy affair at wet and windy Springburn Park this afternoon as Vics tasted league defeat for the first time since July 30.Finnart survived a second-half onslaught to take all three points but tempers flared after the final whistle as rival players became embroiled in heated exchanges inside the pavilion.Vics manager Dougie MacDuff confirmed that forward Shane Jackson and defender Graeme Condon were subsequently shown red cards in the dressing room.

It was a frustrating afternoon all-round for MacDuff who admitted his side never really looked like scoring despite going gung-ho in search of an equaliser. He said: "We threw everything at them in the second half but fair play to the boys at the back for Finnart - they've defended well."We had five guys on up front at one point but the quality of play in the last third wasn't good enough."We haven't had this feeling since the 30th of July.

We could have played another 15 minutes and not scored, I just don't think it was our day."Finnart had the benefit of a swirling wind at their backs in the first half but it was Vics who enjoyed the best of the early chances.James Maxwell registered the game's first shot on target with three minutes on the clock but his low drive from 20 yards was straight at the Finnart goalkeeper.A fizzing Declan Walsh free-kick brought out a better save from the home goalie as Vics kept the pressure on.However, disaster struck for the visitors when Finnart took the lead against the run of play in the 18th minute.Matt Deehan
