Recent figures reveal that drug deaths across Lanarkshire are the second highest in Scotland

Lanarkshire recorded the second highest suspected drug deaths in Scotland during the final quarter of last year.From October to December 2022, there were 118 suspected drug-related deaths recorded across the region according to recent statistics published by The Scottish Government.The report, which was released on March 14, outlines the number of suspected drug deaths recorded by Police Scotland; across the country, there were 1092 recorded in the last quarter of 2022.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
