Rebekah Vardy breaks silence on Instagram with sweet family snap after Wagatha Christie trial

Rebekah Vardy has returned to Instagram for the first time since the beginning of her libel trial against Coleen Rooney.In a now infamous social media post in October 2019, Coleen, 36, said she had carried out a one month long "sting operation" where she accused fellow WAG Rebekah of leaking "false stories" about her private life to the press.

Coleen was dubbed "Wagatha Christie" after publicly declaring Rebekah, 40, was the leak as she went onto launch legal action, claiming she suffered "very serious harm to her reputation" as a result of the WAG's 2019 post.

Outlining Mrs Vardy's case on Tuesday May 10, her barrister Hugh Tomlinson QC told the court she had "no choice" but to bring the legal action against Mrs Rooney so she could clear her name and "establish her innocence and vindicate her reputation", writes the Liverpool Echo.Lawyers gave their closing statements at London's Royal Courts of Justice on Friday (May 19).A verdict is expected to be delivered in the coming weeks.After some three weeks away from social media, Rebekah Vardy posted an update this morning (Wednesday).The mum shared a snap of herself with husband, Leicester City's Jamie Vardy, and their five children.The snap shows the family at King Power Stadium on Sunday, following Leicester's 4-1 win against Southampton.

Rebekah's children wear matching kits to Jamie's.Captioning the post, she simply used a smiling face with hearts emoji.Fans rushed to the comments section to wish the family well.Jacqui Hodgkinson said: "A beautiful picture", while Jennie Thornton said: "Lovely family, and it was really lovely to see you all there together".
