The man behind the real-life 'Bank of Dave' has decided to give away more than 90% of his fortune after his death for a very heartfelt reason.

Dave Fishwick, who earned his wealth through selling minibuses and later established Burnley Savings and Loans in response to the 2008 financial crisis, became a national treasure following the release of his Netflix biopic 'Bank of Dave', where he was portrayed by Rory Kinnear.

With the sequel 'The Bank of Dave 2: The Loan Ranger' dropping today, Dave shared with Lancashire Live how the films have been "life-changing".

Given his success, the businessman was asked why he wasn't spending his days enjoying the fruits of his labour. He explained why he's not just kicking back: "One of my children is a front line police officer and the other one works with animals and I have two grandchildren, two little boys. "We are going to give 90% plus of it away.
