Rangers fans have been warned by police to stay out of Lyon city centre ahead of their Europa League clash on Thursday. The Ibrox side travel to France on Thursday for what is effectively a dead rubber with both teams already qualified for the round of 32.
But 3,000 Rangers fans are still expected to travel and give Gio van Bronckhorst 's side their backing on the road. Only 2,000 of those have tickets although another thousand or so fans are expected to travel.But the match clashes with Lyon's famous Festival of Light, which dates back to 1643 and attracts up to half a million visitors to the city every year.Now the Police Prefecture of Rhone has issued a decree banning all Rangers fans from the centre of the city.And they have warned
