The family of Rangers fan Gordon Smith who vanished from a fan zone in Seville have confirmed that he has been found "safe and well" after 36 hours.
The 42-year-old sparked concern after last being by his brother Craig, 23, at around 11pm on Wednesday, before the siblings became separated.
Gordon, from Renfrew, went to go to the toilet but failed to return and did not make contact with any relatives in the hours that followed despite his frantic brother looking for him.Craig has since made contact with loved ones back in Scotland and is now preparing to fly home after being issued with an emergency travel document.Sister Danielle Ashleigh Smith confirmed to the Daily Record that Gordon was located shortly before 11am on Friday.
The devoted sister had even drafted in a local Seville resident who had planned to liaise with police in a bid to find Gordon.
