Glasgow today following "outbreaks of racist and sectarian singing" by some people attending processions. Police have condemned the "utterly unacceptable" behaviour and say they have seen a number of people intent in "stirring up hatred" at some marches.
A number of arrests have already been made today in connection with various offences as officers continue to police the gatherings.
Chief Superintendent Mark Sutherland, Divisional Commander for Greater Glasgow, has strongly condemned those "intent on causing harm" as he said it was clear sectarianism was a serious and ongoing problem in Scotland.He said: ""We are aware that on a number of occasions today there have been outbreaks of racist and sectarian singing by some of those attending.
