Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.
Prince Harry's nearest and dearests have all sent him sweet birthday messages alongside a series of photos as he turns 37 today, Wednesday 15 September.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were the first to kick things off as they took to their Twitter page to post a photo of the Duke of Sussex in a dapper navy suit as he smiled.
In the caption, William and Kate, both 39, simply wrote: "Happy Birthday Prince Harry!" with a red balloon emoji.The Queen, 95, was close behind as she also posted a message in honour of Harry's birthday alongside several photos of him.
It read: Wishing The Duke of Sussex a happy birthday today!" with a red balloon emoji, too. Meanwhile, his father Prince Charles, 72, wished his son a "very happy birthday" with some.
