Buckingham Palace has announced that the Queen will be buried with the Duke of Edinburgh in King George VI’s chapel in Windsor Castle in a private service at 7.30pm on Monday.The Queen died aged 96 at her Balmoral estate in Scotland on Thursday 8 September.This latest update on the monarch's funeral comes a day after the Queen's was brought to Westminster Hall where she is lying-in-state, giving the public their chance to say a final, emotional goodbye.
The late monarch will remain there until a few hours before the funeral begins on Monday 19 September. Funeral guests will begin arriving at Westminster Abbey as early as 8am, before the funeral itself starts at 11am.

It will then be taken on its final journey to St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, for a committal service at 4pm followed by a private burial.
