The Queen "moved heaven" to attend the opening of the new Elizabeth train line in London earlier this week, a royal expert has claimed.

On Tuesday morning, the 96 year old made a surprise visit to London's Paddington Station to mark the completion of the Crossrail project, named in her honour.

And royal expert Robert Jobson has sung the monarch's praises for her last-minute attendance at the event, dubbing her "brilliant" amid her health concerns in recent weeks. "Well, look, the Palace has known for some time that they've got to pace the Queen," Robert began. "This particular thing for London, in particular, the Crossrail project is huge.

Absolutely, huge for millions and millions of people." Robert continued to GB News: "It's got her name attached to it too. You know, she would have moved heaven and high water to make sure she got there for that. "And I think that the way she performed was brilliant as we saw at the Windsor Horse Show as well." Her Majesty looked sensational for the Elizabeth line opening, stepping out in a regal in a yellow coat, matching hat and white gloves.
