Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s kids are now allowed to use Prince and Princess titles! Speculation about the name change first arose on Wednesday morning when a rep for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed the couple’s youngest had celebrated a special milestone last week, telling People that “Princess Lilibet Diana was christened.” So subtle, we almost missed it!
According to the New York Post, Buckingham Palace has since confirmed the little ones are now allowed to use their new titles after many months of anticipation.
While the royal family’s website hasn’t been updated (currently they are listed as “master” and “miss”), changes will be made very soon. When King Charles III took the throne, he extended an olive branch to the parents by agreeing to make the change.
