Prestwick ace Allan Haggo lands Under 19 Cricket World Cup gig in the West Indies

A Prestwick man is swapping Scotland’s winter for the West Indies.Allan Haggo, 60, is one of only two Scottish umpires who will officiate at the Under 19 Cricket World Cup.The call-up is a major feather in the cap for the Prestwick Cricket Club stalwart who is a former president after coming through the ranks as a youngster and starring in the first team.The tournament runs from January 14 to February 5 with Scotland in action on the opening day against Sri Lanka in Guyana.
